They run smooth and quiet. The massive fasteners used for swinging the head to adjust the belt are way overkill for the job.

I recently picked up a 9x49 Birmingham BP clone and now need to sell my smaller vertical mill. I have owned this mill in my home shop since '94. Powermatic Burke Millrite Model MVN S#79722 It's in very good to excellent condition with original paint and scraping still visible on the ways. The quill is manual feed only and has 4 inches of travel.
